- What is the minimum age requirement to subscribe to SafeGuard Pro?
You must be 18 years old and above.
- What are the eligible devices that can subscribe to SafeGuard Pro?
Most major brands and models that are currently selling in DirectD stores are eligible for SafeGuard Pro subscription.
- What are the types of risks that are covered under SafeGuard Pro?
✓ Extended Warranty
✓ Screen Crack
✓ Accidental Damage, including Liquid Damage
✓ Attended Theft
- What are the major exclusions under this Policy?

- How do I subscribe to SafeGuard Pro?
You can subscribe to SafeGuard Pro when purchasing a new device at any DirectD store, where only on-the-spot subscriptions are allowed.
- What are the fees and charges that I have to pay?
• Commission Paid - 0%
• Service Tax that is applicable
• Service Request Fee according to the subscribed plan
You are obliged to pay any applicable taxes (which include but not limited to Service Tax) imposed by the Malaysian Tax authorities in relation to your Policy.
- My device was damaged after my SafeGuard Pro subscription period ended. Is my device still covered under the protection policy?
No. Your device’s coverage ended at the same time as your SafeGuard Pro subscription period.
- Can I renew my SafeGuard Pro subscription after it has ended?
No. SafeGuard Pro is a one-time subscription program. You can choose to subscribe for either a 1-Year or 2-Years term plan.
- Can I cancel my policy?
You may cancel your plan however, there shall be no refund of subscription fee.
- How do I file for a claim if my device is damaged?
It’s easy, just call SafeGuard Pro Helpline at 03-7940 2807, Monday to Friday (9:00am – 6:00pm).
When filing for a claim, you’ll need to submit the device’s purchase date for verification purposes. If the SafeGuard Pro subscription date differs from the device purchase date, the claim may be rejected.
